DapTechnology's AS5643 interface card adopted for the F-35 project.
There is a growing demand for more streamlined hardware systems for processing AS5643 data streams used for defense purposes. In particular, advanced error insertion capabilities, which cannot be achieved with commercial link layer implementations, are required for simulation purposes. FireTrac is designed to natively support AS5643 (not just as an add-on protocol). In addition to standard IEEE1394 functionality, FireTrac is designed to provide hardware-level support for SAE AS5643, particularly alleviating the burden on the host processor for tasks such as packet encapsulation, data extraction, and receive/transmit STOF offsets. Importantly, FireTrac is highly accurate as it fully processes AS5643 transmission timing in hardware. A new technology PMC card that enables the addition of a 100Mbps communication channel for STANAG 7221 using conventional MIL-STD-1553 cables.
Edgewater Inc. (Canada) has standardized the Extended 1553 as STANAG7221. This new technology enables 100Mbps communication using the existing wiring of MIL-STD-1553B. It is compatible with the existing MIL-STD-1553B, allowing communication without mutual interference, and a separate 100Mbps communication channel is secured. It is suitable for programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of existing aircraft. Adoption is increasing in fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft in the U.S. and Europe. This is an industrial media converter that can operate in harsh environments ranging from -40°C to +75°C, converting 10/100BASE-TX to 100BASE-FX for transmission. The lineup includes both ST and SC optical connectors, both of which support multimode, with a single-mode compatible model also available in SC. Only the ST model can operate with a power supply in the voltage range of AC 18-30V. Additionally, all products in the same series can operate within a voltage range of DC 12V to 48V. The multimode has a link budget (optical allowable loss) of 11.0dB, allowing for an extension of up to 2km, while the single-mode has a link budget of 17.0dB, enabling an extension of up to approximately 20km. Please use the customer's power supply for the AC power. Several variations of industrial power supplies with DC output are available as product options. 10/100/1000 industrial media converter operating at -40℃ to +65℃
The industrial 10/100/1000 media converter SISTG series connects 10/100/1000BASE-T twisted pair cables and converts them to multimode fiber (1000BASE-SX) or single-mode fiber (1000BASE-LX), allowing for transmission and extension. Its features include operation in a wide temperature range of -40°C to +65°C, making it a certified product suitable for harsh industrial or manufacturing environments classified as Class 1, Division 2.
